Terms of Service

By creating an account or using African Stand, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

African Stand provides AI-assisted tools for drafting, verifying, translating, designing, and distributing content, made available on a subscription basis.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled.

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. Usage-based add-ons (AI image, video, and voice generation, translation volume, and API usage above plan limits) are billed in arrears based on actual usage.

You agree not to use the platform to generate or distribute unlawful, defamatory, or knowingly false content, and to comply with applicable media, election, and broadcast regulations in the jurisdictions where you publish.

Content ownership and licensing

You retain ownership of the source material you submit and the final content you choose to publish. You grant African Stand a limited license to process that content solely to provide the requested features.

AI-generated content disclaimer

AI-generated drafts, translations, and fact-checks are provided as a starting point for your editorial process, not a substitute for it. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publication.

Either party may terminate a subscription in accordance with the plan terms. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, African Stand is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights in your own jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
